You need friends to follow you. If you don't have those then your out of luck. Don't expect a Celebrity to follow you. It won't happen. Don't expect them to reply either. When they have millions of people following them they MOST LIKELY and WON'T respond to you.

Getting followers on twitter can be hard, but if you understand how it works it can be a lot easier. Here's an article I've been using to try and understand how to get more followers.

I use a website called twiends: http://twiends.com/me/KrAzY_aFrIcAN you basically sign up then you have choices of either buying followers, , following people or referring people. When you follow someone you earn seeds from them, and vica versa when they follow you. You can decide how many seeds you want to offer per follow, and when you run out you remain on the list so people can still follow you if they like. its really good when i first made a twitter i was dedicated to getting followers and in a week i had over 800 but i ended up deleting it because i really never used it. I got back on tiwtter about 2months ago and as an updated count, I have about 6k followers, thanks to that website. you just have to put in time to get the results that you want...hopes this helps! Smile follow me on twitter and tweet for a follow back @Sativa_Indica

First up follow these celebrities that you admire so much. Then start tweeting interesting things about what you are passionate about. You will automatically start getting followers. Celebrities will come gradually. Don't fall for these overnight schemes that promise thousands of followers. Tweet what you are passionate about and the followers will come. Organically build your Twitter Follower list.

Tech Tip: Create Twitter lists and reach out to friends to start getting that initial burst of followers.

It's really very easy for me after I found out about KEEKO. This is a social media exchange where you can get followers on Twitter without advertising it. All you have to do is submit your username there without "@" and wait for your followers to grow.

Having a lot of twitter followers can increase your online credibility and boost your online presence......

You can follow people on this list. They will follow you back within a couple of days. There are also instructions to follow people safely! You cannot follow too many people at once.... otherwise you'll get suspended by Twitter admin!

Enjoy!
