On Facebook, how do I keep one relationship hidden from the rest?

I have an issue with Facebook. I have a gay double life and I met someone and I am going to add them on Facebook. I don't want anyone to be alerted that I have added a new friend and when I do I do not want anyone to be able to see his postings on my wall and my postings on his or anything to do with him really. Also pls don't tell me not to lead a double life. I think its fun.

Impossible. You would need a second account for your second life.

You're not a secret agent. Get over it and and get used to having his posts on your wall or just make another facebook account.

That is impossible. Facebook has no privacy at all. Everything you do, from adding a new friend, to liking someone's status updates shows up on everyone's wall, so if you have family or friends who don't know you're gay, they'll find out whether you like it or not.
Still though, it's nice if you want to find out what some of your friends are up to :-)
