What toll has social networking had on human communication?
In a day and age when computers are a household appliance, social networking is practically unavoidable. My question is: What toll have Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, and other social networking websites had on actual communication between everyday people. Do you think it has made our connections stronger? Or has it brought us further apart from one another by isolating us to no more than a profile picture?
What are your thoughts?

Social networking has taken a huge toll on children and people in general. Communication has gone to trash because everyone uses facebook, myspace, and twitter as forms of communication and its crazy!
