how do i create a facebook list with more privacy settings?

I dont want some of my friends on facebook to be able to see my entire facebook page. how do i do this without changing the privacy settings for everybody?

i heard about lists, how does this work?

If you log into facebook and in the top right corner, go to settings, profile privacy, then click on profile, you can change the settings for each part of your profile individually. If you only want some people to be able to see a certain part, select customize from the drop down menu, and you will be able to add the names of people you do not want to view that part of your profile.
And now if you want to double check, at the top of the profile privacy page, you can enter a friend's name and see how they view your profile, this way you can ensure they do not see the blocked sections!
