how to change my looks? how to become a happening girl among my friends?

i just turned 18 and im a normal gal..but i have my hair the same everyday for college as well as home..i dont wear make up cos i have noticed it doesn't suit me as i have brown skin( though not too dark) but there are these good looking girls who look pretty and different everyday! im feeling kinda jealous of them i feel inferior about myself for that reason..i feel like im outta my friends' attention...and i can see that my friends show more importance to those pretty girls who look different and beautiful everyday...even i want to be like them..can you please help me giving some tips about it? i am a lil fat so if i lose weight n become slim will i start gaining everyone's attention at college? HELP ME! my friends upload photoshooted pictures on facebook very often but i have the same old profile pic for years..because i dont have friends who can photoshoot me and im very scared of being pictured as i always look ugly in photos..how to overcome all these probs?? please help !

You should probably take into consideration that maybe your friends are jealous of you too because you don't have to wear make up and still look beautiful? Its not all about looks either but if you wanna stand out more maybe get a new hair cut or style your hair different , You shouldn't lose weight unless you feel like its what you want Dont change for anyone
