Facebook with timeline has gotten really different how to fix?

Facebook has gone stupid on me now. When I post my pictures in a different album they would let me make a profile picture on there. Now it doesn't show that anymore. How can I make a pofile pic from other albums again? Please and thank you!

timeline cannot be changed sorry.

you can't change facebook timeline. it's better than old facebook. but you still can make profile picture from other album. just open a picture click on the setting icon from top up of your page. them select make it profile picture.

You could just revert back to the old pages with the following fix:

If you hate Facebook TImeline and want it gone, there is a genuine method to get the old profile pages back. Facebook have deliberately omitted to make Timeline work with Internet Explorer 7. If you view Timeline pages with Internet Explorer 7 (or set your existing browser to pretend its IE7), you will see the old style profile pages instead. If you also want your friends to see your profile in the old style format too, you just need to point them to this solution too.
