Facebook Privacy Problem?

Ok, so it seems that facebook has made a new privacy setting. But really, it made everything less private. I don't want ANYONE except my friends to see my profile picture, pages I'm a fan of, high school, gender, my friends, or any information besides being able to add me as a friend. Unfortunately, facebook got rid of the ability to do this and the ability to contact them! Obviously because they have a bunch of new problems that they know people won't like. That is just low. And I've been accepting all of their changes but this is just too far. I have a right to control my privacy from people that I don't know. If you know of a way to do this, please help. I know they have a privacy section, but when I previewed my profile it said: most people can see it like this. I don't want most people to see ANY of my information unless I am friends with them.

ok... have you tried going to the settings tab- privacy settings -profile - and you can change all the options to only friends- and you then have to simple save the changes..hope this helped.. =)

Yeah I don't quite understand why they changed the settings. It was fine the way it was. So far I haven't noticed changes in mine or my friends profiles but I'm sure it's coming. They can't really do all of them at once.

I do not want certain people knowing my friends list, seeing my picture, seeing who I am a fan of, etc etc. I have those all private & that is my right along with everyone else's right to do that!

I have sat by for all the changes Facebook has made & not loved all of them, but until this point none of the changes affected my privacy. I am pissed. All of my friends are on here so getting off isn't really something I want to do, but on the other hand I don't want my business out there for the world!

I am not happy. I don't know what I can do though?

Facebook changed their settings today. 12/09/09
now if your over at 18 you can't put your whole page on private like your profile picture, gender, wall, pages. you can only put certain information on private. This is really pissing me off. Facebook is always changing crap without asking for your consent. Atleast myspace give you options.
