I want to join facebook but I don't have any friends to put on my profile and don't know where to start.?

I have a few friends in real life but feel that I would be embarrassed of how few friends I have on my profile if I were to join up. What should I do? How do other people collect facebook friends?

There's a search icon on top of your facebook.Type the name of a friend you would prefer.Of course,there will be way too many in that name.Find him and send a friend request.If he/she accepts you will gain access to his/her facebook friends.Search his/her friends and make them your friends too.This would be a simple way to start up with,

Try diffrnt names and search on fb. U can also type Ur last name which is 'patricha' and click on search.
If U find 1 Ur type of friend you can view friends of ur friend.
