Is there any way to get rid of Facebook Timeline?

A few months ago I installed Timeline with that Developers application but I didn't like it and so I disabled it and went back to my old profile. But yesterday Timeline again appeared on my profile and now I don't know how to get rid of it.None of my friends have it,just me.

Is there any chance that it can be removed?

Go to Facebook.com and log into your Facebook account.

Type the name of a Facebook application into the search box at the top of your Facebook account page.

Click the option labeled "See more results" on the context menu.

Click the "View App" button next to the Facebook application.

Click the option labeled "Block App" on the lower-left corner of the page. Click "Okay" to block the Facebook application.
