Why does my facebook friends count keep going up and down?

the number on friends i have on facebook keeps going up and down by like 2-5 people... without me deleting anyone or accepting friend requests... whats happening?

Because for some odd reason people deactivate they're account and activate it only when they want to have a nose, saves people nosing on them. Defeats the whole point of having it.

It's a bug of Facebook, it happens to me also.

People are either deleting you and also people keep activating and deactivating their facebooks which is making the numbers go up or down ( when they deactivate it's like they aren't on it and when they activate it again you can see them-if you get that)

Like everyone said a lot of people deactivate and reactivate their accounts

This is a problem which is affecting my Facebook friend count at the moment so you're not the only one. When people deactivate their profiles this causes the friend count to go down but when these people re-activate their account the number raises again to it's original number. Facebook is very tempermental at times and frustrating but it's no-one's fault and it usually resolves itself in time. Don't worry about it and hope I helped.

Because Friend Counts are Never accurate they always go up and down nothing new just ignore it all your friends are still there its just an issue with the count number
