Unsearchable Facebook?
I would like to know how to make myself unsearchable on Facebook. I tried going into privacy settings and changing the option "Who can look you up using the email address or phone number you provided?" to only Friends. however on another account still show up on the search bar. Am I doing something wrong or is there another way to go about making myself unsearchable?

apart from this setting, disable 'public profile search' in privacy settings. On mobile, Go to 'privacy and terms' > apps and websites > public search. Disable it there. Good luck.

I'll name your unsearchable Facebook Account as "A" and the another one is "B". Firstly , If your B account are friends with your A account , You will see your A account on the search bar. I do not think that you are able to make it unsearchable because :
Example 1 : You met a new friend and you both exchanges Facebook Accounts. He/She said that they will find you and add you on Facebook. But , they couldn't find you because you had made it visible for your friends only. Every accounts are to be seen in public searchers. No such things as making it unsearchable. If Facebook made it available , How are you going to get new friends ? You can't even make someone search you so it is very unconvienient. |
