PLEASE HELP? VERY CONFUSED - 10 POINTS?

Posted this question before but only got one bad answer.

'm 13 and I like this boy who is 14. He lives in Spain, I'm in the UK. Yes I know he's real, before you say anything, we've done webcam etc.

We talked on facebook one day and he was really sweet. The next couple conversations were okay until one night in the middle of the conversation he started ignoring me. He'd seen my message on facebook and was talking to girls on twitter. About an hour later, he made up an excuse that he'd 'fallen asleep and he had to go.'

The next time we talked he didn't reply to my 'hey' for 2 hours. I then explained to him I'd wrote him a love letter, he asked to see it. I showed him it; he kept going on about how beautiful it was and how cute/lovely I was. Our conversation stopped, because he started talking to my friend. He started saying how cute I was etc. My friend got carried away and said things like 'it's international love!<3' and 'you two are going to get married in Disney' He was like 'maybeee(;'
Yesterday I sent him a message on facebook, he'd seen it. He started talking to other girls on twitter and didn't reply to me.
Now today, I said hey and he said hey. I asked him how he was and he replied 'im gonna create a fb to my friend, now we talk ' Then he just went offline. I didn't understand what this meant, his english is usually very good. I sent him a message about an hour later asking if he was back on, because he was online. He seen it, and once again ignored me.

My question is, if he kept complimenting how sweet and everything I was, why does he keep making excuse and ignoring me? Does he hate me or does he like me and is shy to talk to me? He's not a shy guy though, makes me wonder. 10 Points to best answer!

Oh and, I can't just 'move on' no matter how easy you can say it.
When I like someone, I like them for a very long time, and I don't move on for ages.
The last boy I liked, I liked for over a year.
How did he cheat on me if we don't even go out?XD
The thing is I only talk to him like twice a week, so I'm not really smothering him?

Wether he is 14 or 34, no guy likes the feeling of being smothered, which is exactly what your doing by contacting him constantly. I'm sure he originally did like your letter and I'm sure that he does think that you're cute but if you continue to chase him like you are then you are only going to wind up chasing him away. ( It doesn't help that yall are in 2 different countries either )
Right now he's got you wrapped around his finger and he knows it..
My advice is to back off for a few days..don't facebook or webcam or email him or anything.
Give him a chance to miss you and I'm sure he'll change his tune.

If not then you need to devote your time and attention to someone else.
