How do I hide adding a new friend on my Facebook profile?
Say that I want to add a friend but I don't want other people on Facebook to know. Is there a way to avoid the "X is now friends with X" appearing on my profile and other people's newsfeed?
EDIT: Thanks for the help, but is there a way to only hide one of the friend additions? Like if I add a new friend, and just X them but don't choose the hide all new friends option, will it still show up on other people's news feed/my profile? Whoever answers this will get Best Answer. Ads |

You can quickly go to your profile after you have added them and go to your wall and find the "x is now friends with x" and on the top right of that post an "x" pops up, you can click that and click "remove post".

well, the top one is almost correct.
1. after adding a new friend, 2. go to ur profile 3. put your cursor to top right of your adding friend in the recent activity, there will be a (X) button. 4. put your cursor on it. and click it. 5. choose hide all adding new friend or bla bla.. (whatever the name is) p.s it will hide all your activity about adding new friend. |

account setting > privacy setting > view setting(on the top) > show my Friend list > (left side) Only me.
