what should i do in this situation with a girl?

ok, so i wouldn't really call it a situation, more of a potential future situation

so theres this girl that I've known since the end of summer. Ever since we met, we have talked a lot. I got her number pretty quickly and we text/talk on Facebook a lot. We have never hung out 1 on 1, but have in groups/been at parties. I like her, and have a little assumption that she likes me back but am not 100% sure and don't want to screw it up.

Example: last night we were at a party, and i caught her looking at me when i walked in, and she approached me before i approached her. When we talk, she always makes eye contact and smiles. I guess she does some flirty things, like she was playing with my hoodie strings last night. I have literally ZERO experience with getting girls, so i don't really know what to do, as opposed to people who have been in the situation before. What should I do? I want to try to take it a step up but also don't want to screw it up...

here is my best advice, and most honest opinion:
Its great to talk a lot because that way you can get to know someone better! however, its the things you talk about that make you CLOSER. if you just talk about the latest gossip, or sports game, or mutual friends, you might want to gear it into family, or just thoughts and feelings, but really slowly. Maybe share something that maybe you haven't told as many people, that makes her feel like you trust her which is a good thing, also, ask her opinion on things because it shows that you care about what she thinks. Ask her questions about herself too! nothing personal, just keep it at hobbies or other things, this will show her your interested.
Try flirting back with her, maybe be subtly at first, maybe she got a new haircut that's super cool, anything that tells her that you notice, and if she responds positively, keep doing it, this will hint to her that you like her!! also try and smile at her a lot, LET her catch you looking at her, small things like this
She seems to really like you! so be confident about yourself! stand a little taller, but don't go overboard, aim for confident not stuck up, something about confidence is really sexy to a girl!
Next you might want to spend some on on one time, doing things that you both like, and make sure its interactive!! cross off movies from your list of dates! try things like, if your both into sports, go to a vacant field/arena and play a fun scrimmage, maybe some wall climbing, or whatever else it is! save dinners for later on.
At this point you should probably ask her out... if your getting positive responses, this should be your green light! and remember your confidence! yeah its nerve-racking, just try and mask it, let it come naturally!!
