Facebook new privacy policy! How can I hide my friends list?
I don't wants my friend list to be shown on public search index. How can I hide it?

It seems like this option is been forgotten with this new policy.
No, I still can't hide my friend list on public search.
Ok, now I could hide friends on public search. How can I custome and hide friends from a friend list?

are you looking for this?:

Highlight settings > Privacy settings > Profile information (change / remove all "show everyone / everyone")

If you want to hide your friends list on your profile:
Go to your "PROFILE" page, on the left corner of the page, below your Photo and information, look for your "FRIENDS" box. see it? on the label heading of "FRIENDS" there on the right side of it, is a PENCIL icon. click on it, a drop down box will appear and uncheck the box that says "show my friends on my profile".

Facebook says it has tweaked its new "privacy" settings to allow us to keep our Friends List private. Only it doesn't work. The official word is that, "In response to users' complaints, the friends list can now be restricted to be viewed only by friends." The instruction is to go to the Friends List on your profile, click on the little pencil edit in the right corner, and uncheck the box that says "Show Friends List." But hey, guess what, after you do this, your Friends List may still show up on your profile when people visit it. Mine does.
I have contacted Facebook many times and gotten basically no answer--just links to sections in the Help center where people are complaining about the exact same thing. Some "Help," Facebook. Today, in disgust, I deactivated my Facebook account. Deciding whether to share information about who I have friended or not friended, or how many friends I have, is MY business. This is information about MY life. Facebook's decision to reveal this without my control or permission is a major invasion of my privacy.
