i created a Facebook group and now i want to delete it. How do I delete a facebook group?

OK, I have faced the SAME problem so I know what to do:

You have two options:

First: You can just leave the group. To do that, go to your groups, click on "show all groups" and then you'll find "leave group". Click on it, and voila! You have left. When you leave and somebody else tries to view the group, it will be written "this group has no administrator, do you want to be an administrator?" If that person clicks on it, HE becomes admin. Your name is long gone by now!

Second: You can entirely delete the group (which did not happen in the first scenario!). To do that, go to the group (while still being admin), click on "edit members" and then remove ALL members. You have to do it one by one. Keep on doing that till you have removed them all, and then leave yourself. That way, the group will be DELETED.

I have chosen the first way 'cause the group I created had over 130 members and I thought it would be rude to remove them and delete the group! Thought it's nicer to just leave and leave them do whatever the heck they want!

Facebook's system automatically deletes groups once they're empty (no members). If you created the group or are one of the group's administrators, the easiest way to delete the group is to remove all members and then remove yourself. So, there's no way to delete it unless you do this..=)
