Girl stole my phone at school? Should i say something if i see her?

Honestly i'm utterly PISSED OFF!! This bitch stole my phone but i didn't realize it until later. Here's the story. After lunch i went to the restroom and i almost always drop my phone out of my pocket well i was in a hurry and forgot it in the bathroom but realized 45 seconds later that i forgot it so i RAN back to the bathroom and a girl was ALREADY in there and she flushed the toilet twice in 15 second and then sat there with i think maybe she was using her purse cuz it wasn't on the ground ( i was looking on the ground for where i left it)

When she came i out i asked her if she saw a phone in there and she said uh i saw one in that stall (pointing to the stall to the left of the one i was in) and i knew there was a pair of scissors in that stall and i didn't go in that one so i asked again to make sure and she pointed to the same stall. is said well when did you see it? she pointed and said uhhhh over there and practically ran out of the bathroom. It didn't occur to me until about 30 second later that she stole it!

What i really want to know is what would you do if you saw the same girl who took your phone in the hallway walking? I'm really banking on the totally kick her fucking ass, but maybe there's an alternative so that i don't get RAQ or OCS (discipline hell hole places lol it sucks) so maybe i could just jack her fucking purse cuz she probly has the phone with her and it's on cuz it says on my friends profile that i'm online on facebook... I'm thinking maybe i could call or text her from a friends phone whose number is NOT in my contacts and try the "who is this? oh wrong number" trick? help i really want my phone and if i get her name the school might be able to take care of it!

Hmm.... that's a tough one. I guess you could tell her that you know she has your phone and to give it back. You could say that if she gives it back at that time, things won't get complicated and you'll go your separate ways. If she doesn't agree... don't know, I think i'd be pretty pissed. Please don't go overboard.

If I were you, I'd go to the office and file a complaint. Ask them to call her in and then to dial your number while she's in the office. If she has the phone on her and it's on, it will ring.

However, you don't actually have conclusive proof. If the phone is off or if she's put it somewhere else, the office isn't likely to be able to do much unless she confesses.

If you try stealing her purse, on the other hand, you can end up in jail. "I think she took my phone" is not a defense to theft. Even "I know she took my phone" is not a defense to theft, and you don't really know, because it's possible someone else came in, found and took your phone, and left the bathroom before you got back.
