I sent a complaint to privacy@facebook.com will they take action?

Someone at my school has created an account under my name and has been using it to spread slander and degrade my reputation. Will Facebook actually do anything about it?

I would have thought so, it's a genuine case. If possible you could report that profile - I've reported groups before and they've been removed damn quickly!

yeah they will! just two days ago i e-mailed them a complain and the next day they replied! great service!

I agree with above. They have amazing service especially for a site that used by millions of people.

They will most likely get back to you and try to fix your problem.
