I'm using IE and Windows 7. I've compared my Facebook to several friends and none of them have the insane amount of ads mine does. They are all over and some are quite large. It causes lag and unresponsiveness. In addition I'm getting a message regarding "cross site scripting". AVG has not found a virus but it certainly seems like something malicious is going on here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My facebook use to to that to. I thought it was hacked so I changed the password and it did nothing. I tried logging onto to it from another computer and lo and behold it ran faster and had less ads. It wasn't because it was a different computer it is because the other internet server I was using. Basically using Internet Explorer is what was causing my facebook to run slow and have lots of ads. I now use google chrome and it runs so much better. I would try either using google chrome or modzilla fire fox. Hope I helped.
