What happened to my Twitter?

Within the past 24 hours, I've gained about 50 followers, most of them spam I'm guessing.
But ever since I've had all these spam followers I can't view my homepage. When I go to click the Timeline it says I'm not following anyone when on the side bar it says I'm following over 1'300 people. I don't understand what's happened?!
Is it to with the followers or has something happened on Twitter?

Damn I only follow 134 out of 893 people.
You can't always follow everyone back.
You should make a new one and follow people you know.

That happened to me and a few people I follow as well. Don't worry it's nowt to do with the spam followers. It's just a glitch in the site and should come back to normal (mine was only down for about an hour). Just wait a bit and it should come back up.
