Im looking into getting an Ipod touch, so i wanted to know if on the Ipod touch 1st generation, can you get apps such as Facebook and texting for free? Smile Any answers are greatly appreciated!!

Yes u can get facebook for free and u can get textplus to send text's.

NOTE: Sending text's only works in the United States

Yea u can. if u have wireless internet in your house or go somewhere that has free wi-fi and u just go on iTunes on your iTouch and go 2 free apps. there should be 1 for txting AND facebook.
