How does Facebook decide who's icon shows up on the friends box?
On my profile on facebook, in the little square that says 'friends' it's always a different mixture of the same 20 people. Ironically, these 20 people are all people who I frequently talk to. Does this mean that the people who are in that box are the last people who clicked my profile? or does it mean something else? It can't just be a coincience that out of 700 friends, it only shows 20 of my really close friends, and never shows random people

|
People (including Facebook Admins) always claim it's random, but my experience is similar to yours so I personally think it is based on interactions (people you message/ like/ write on their wall the most). But no one seems to have a definite answer for this question
