How Do I Get Rid of Facebook Timeline?

Stupidly i upgraded my profile to that new timeline thing and i absolutely hate it. Just some advice for others, don't use it. it sucks. its so confusing and disfunctional. so anyways does anyone know how i can get rid of it now? i will be eternally greatful. haha thanks

I'm pretty sure I read where it said once you switch you can't go back.

there's no way to get rid of it once you convert your profile to it

Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement about the deployment of the upgrade in any of its official pages, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size are never optional.
