"Friend" on facebook called me a tool on my profile picture. Should I delete him and the comment?

I rarely change profile pictures (about twice a year) so I am not one of those people that posts meaningless pics every second or minute. But this dude has been acting weird as of late and now he has called me a tool on my facebook profile picture. He has told other "friends" on his facebook to either "kill themselves" and "your life is pointless, end it now" when they posted statuses about their issues and has called other people distasteful names too. I don't know what happened with this guy, he used to be a nice and cool dude to hang out with but idk now. My profile picture was aimed more towards family and I have a lot of family who like and commented on the picture so I don't want them to see this. Should I delete the comment, delete the friend or delete both?

delete both because if he was your friend he would have not called you stuff and posted negative comments about you

delete him.. he wont know if you do untill he finds out he cant look at your stuff. It was very rude of him to do that.. And you don't want you're family to get involved.. that would be bad.. so delete him and the comment ^.^ good luck

If this friend has been acting weird for short period (few days-few weeks), then you could give him a chance. Maybe confront him, and ask "What's up with you lately?", and see how it goes from there. If he has been weird for a LONG time, you could delete him. You could also stand up to him. Answer his remark with something like "Oh, I look like a tool? Perhaps you should take a look in a mirror..". But that may be sinking to his level.

In my logic, if it's people I DON'T like in the real world, I DON'T have them on Facebook, or any other social site, because it simply does not make any sense. Easy.
