How can I put an ad or something on Facebook to give away my cat?

I have to get rid of my cat, but I don't want to give it to the pound. How can I put something on my Facebook for my friends to see with a picture of my cat and telling them that I am giving it away?

Just put it in your status. Upload a picture of the cat to imageshack or photobucket. Then put the URL of the picture in the status so people can see the cat.

You can post it as a status message so depending on how you set your privacy levels all your friends etc will see it. Then if you take one or more pictures of your cat with a digital camera or phone, download or transfer the file how ever you currently do it and upload as a pic to your status also.

Also consider posting the ad on Craigslist and send and e-mail with photo to everyone in your e-mail contact list.
