On Facebook Timeline, how do I make my status updates viewable to everyone?

Even people I am not friends with. And without having to change the settings each time I post a status, I want them visible every time I put a status without having to customise. I have looked in settings and edit profile and cannot simply see an option for Who can view my status updates? Everyone.

Go to Privacy Settings and there should be 3 big buttons: Public Friends & Custom and change this to Public and hopefully everytime you post, the privacy will be enabled to Public, to check this should say on the bottom right of the status box.
