How can I update facebook fan page without having each change show up in fans' news feeds?
Recently I published about a half dozen old blog posts to my facebook fan page. I just wanted them there for completeness's sake and for people to be able to refer to. After I shared each one I clicked "Hide" to take it off of my timeline. I thought this would keep it out of my fans' news feeds. But it did not. I unintentionally spammed the heck out of my fans that day and had to apologize. How can I do things like change my images, catch up on missed posts, etc. without flooding a bunch of nonsense onto fans' histories? Is "unpublish" the secret to all of this? Can I unpublish, add or change content, and then re-publish as a means of avoiding the news flood? Thanks for your insight.

there is no way to do that.... that's just how pages work
you can unpublish the page and make changes, but i'm pretty sure all the changes will then be ;ut into peoples' news feeds as soon as you re-publish it Ads |
