Facebook Privacy Question????

Hello. I have a facebook account, but i want it very private. The main thing i don't want is when people can type my name in google (e.i. John Smith) and then it comes up with my facebook page. I went to my account privacy settings and unchecked the box that says, "allow preview paige" (or something like that) but whenever i still do that, my name will come up on the google search. How can i stop this? THanks!

You cannot stop your name from appearing on google was you have put your information onto the internet. You can however, set the privacy settings so only friends are able to view your page.

Actually...
You CAN stop your name coming up in the search engines, just go to your privicy settings on facebook, and then click on 'search' there will be a thing that says
Public search results
Create a public search listing so others can see a preview of your Facebook Profile on search engines (see preview).

Simply untick the box hope this helped, xx
