Is there a way I can hide my Facebook profile from the public ?

I deactivated my Facebook profile years ago. And now I'm thinking of getting it again. The only thing is I need to update it a lot now. And I don't want people to go on my profile until it's finished.

I have a lot of friends which want to add me on Facebook. Is there a way I can hide my profile from the public, so people can't find me???

yes there is you go on account at the top in the corner, then you click on privacy settings and it says everyone, friends of friends, or just friends then you pick which one you want and you can block people aswell if you ever need to.
