ie - People you've known for years and meet and have fun with regularly face-to-face, not just random people or ex-house mates you talk to occasionally using Facebook and YouTube.

well you should still be getting out and socializing a bit, somehow... even if you go out with a co-worker for a coffee or a drink... or try meeting some people on http://www.datehookup.com... even craigslist.com just to make some friends.

you don't live with your mom still do you?

I'm told many times that it's not normal because that's my case, maybe we can become friends ?

I`m 50 and don`t have any friends. all my mates form the past have wed and moved on, or away, i`ve even changed job, but no one in my new place is worth bothering with. They all want to gamble money away, drink 20 pints each time, or not bother to work, not my sort. Trouble is, not going out, means i don`t meet anyone, so i`m alone
