We like each other but have never met.?
I'm in year 11 at my school and one day this cute lad in sixthform pops up on facebook and since then we have been messaging on and off. I like him and it's obvious he likes me too. But the thing is we have never met in person although we go to the same school.
I'm nervous incase we pass in school incase he doesn't like who I am behind my profile picture. He asked to meet with me tomorrow but I made up an excuse to get out of it. I think the problem is I met up with a mate (my age) the other day and although we text and see eachother once a week at college it was a very very awkward day because it turns out he 'likes' me and I couldn't wait to leave because he's totally different to how he texts and I'm afraid it'll be the same thing with this other guy. What do I do?

sorry, but, no, how can you say you both like each other, you have never met, you write with the connotations that you have never spoken outside the internet, if you meet him, then you're putting yourself in danger, but if you're insistent on this, which i can tell you're not other wise you wouldn't be asking. you just want someone to tell you what to do so if something goes wrong there is someone out there you can blame. i will tell you this, all we are ever taught about the internet is never meet anyone we meet on there unless its in a public place in a pre-agree'd place. however next time flip a coin don't use yahoo to have a complete stranger tell you whether to meet someone.
