How can i stop my facebook account sending melicious links to ALL my "friends"?

I appear to have been a victim of a 'phishing' attack: all my facebook friends are receiving facebook invites, apparently from me, eg "<my name> has invited you to the following event....then some advert and some link... etc". it's happened 4 times in the last week and all my friends are getting annoyed, how do i stop this happening now AND in the future? Help pls!

I know this is a lot of work, but it could be the only sure fire way to avoid it for a long time. Create a new facebook account, explain what's going on to your friends, and invite them to the new account. Delete the old one, and make sure it's gone. And make sure your passord isn't something simple like, - icewolf - make sure its at least partially complicated, like this -66icewolf99- it will at least buy you a couple years longer before your account gets hacked again... sometimes its unavoidable.
