Ads all over my facebook?

It just started a couple minutes ago when I logged onto my facebook there were a few extra adds. They were on the pages I admin and I'm super annoyed. But they only come up when I'm in Chrome, not Safari and I haven't tried Internet Explorer, what should I do? I downloaded a facebook background changer from the Chrome store, could that have what the call "adware?" How can I remove it, I removed the facebook background changer but that's now working, is my computer infected with a virus?
Never mind I had to delete an app that I did not even get.

maybe you download a software with adware. or maybe the chrome itself.
