How is the privacy with facebook?
Overall, is it a safer environment than Hi5, myspace, or Xanga? What are your experiences and/or thoughts? Any help appreciated! Thanks.

it is much safer and a whole lot more advanced than any of the other ones because they just added new applications like a music player and games and you can join groups with people that believe in the same thing or just like the same thing.

i think facebook is safe. if someone wants to become your friend, you have the choice of rejecting them or accepting their request. you can change your settings so that only your friends or selected friends can look at your homepage. i have both a myspace and facebook account and i believe that facebook is safer than myspace.

NO face book is easy to hack into, as school officials are doing it themselves, it is worse than my space for privacy and don't sign up as your ip address can easily be traced by the school your attending. Look up any articles about face book and you will read about the girl who was stalked and killed by someone who found her, sad story but true
