Can Facebook use my Phone Number I Signed up with to Call me?

I never made it public and i never added any one as a friend,Jimmy.
But what Harm could it do? that is my question.

No - the reason they ask for your phone number is because if you get hacked they can send you a new password to that phone number. That's the only way to get your account back. A friend's account was hacked and some scammers changed her password and sent an email to her contacts that she was stuck overseas and needed money to get home. The only way she was able to get her account restored was to contact Facebook who sent a new password to the phone number she provided when she signed up
