Why does my facebook has all these random ads and my friends accounts don't?

Does anyone else have this problem? I really want to know how to remove them, they are quite annoying..
And also if its apps, which ones??
Oh yah and it says under events/friends- Change layout, Remove layout? whats up with this !!!!!

its probably from facebook aps or quizes you took on facebook, you should delete them

That happen to me, I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. So what I did is downloaded a different web browser. I recommend /google chrome or Apple's "Safari". I think I downloaded something by accident that messes with my Internet Explorer and still can't figure out what.
