What are these random ads that keep playing?
When I am on my computer, I keep having these random ads playing. I can't figure out where they are coming from. I thought they were a virus or something, so I scanned my computer with the norton antivirus scanner, and it got rid of all of the viruses and stuff, but the ads continue to play. They randomly start playing when I am donig stuff like sometimes when I'm on facebook or when I'm on oovoo. I was watching a show online on abc family and one came on, but it wasn't the one that the tv show was playing as a commercial on the show. It wasn't supposed to be there. Any ideas of what this may be caused from?

Thanks.

Ads playing in the background is a rootkit, and most security software is lacking in the detection of rootkits, you need anti-rootkit programs to detect/remove them. Try these two little programs to remove it. No need to install, just download to the desktop, and double click the icon(s) to launch the scanners:

Click on the tdsskiller.exe link to download:

If TDSSKiller didn't find it, then try this one:

You have whats known as adware on your computer, its a type of malware that injects adverts into web pages that you view. The form this malware takes is usually browser addons / extensions or toolbars. You should remove any such software you have installed and if that doesnt get rid of the problem, run antimalware scanners such as MalwareBytes Antimalware and SuperAntiSpyware.

Once you have eliminated the adware from your system, i recommend adding the safe and highly rated FB Purity browser extension for blocking out the normal facebook ads (sponsored box and sponsored stories / application and game spam etc: You can get it here: http://fbpurity.com

This procedure has succeeded with others here who've complained of background noises/voices/music.

Try this:

Firstly, boot your computer to the Safe Mode menu screen. You do this by repeatedly pressing F8 as soon as you boot up. Once there, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode with Networking. Continue to boot from there, by pressing Enter. You will now see some drivers being loaded. There will be a pause at some point. This usually lasts for no more than 30 seconds.

Now open your browser and download TDSSKiller.exe from Kaspersky Lab. It's tiny, and takes just a minute to run. It hunts down and kills a specific family of rootkits.

Regardless of the results, download and run Dr. Web CureIt! (still in Safe Mode):

Now download the free version of Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (MBAM). Install it, get updates and run a full scan:

http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwar...i_malware/

You should now delete TDSSKiller.exe and Dr. Web CureIt!, as updated versions are often made available. MBAM can be easily uninstalled, but it may prove to be beneficial in the future.

Hope this helps.

its a very common issue, all the online streaming websites wants to make some profits so that it shows any ads come to it and that ads have a big chance to be viruses or trojans they think that all what matters really is money so that there is away to watch all channels you want
