Is Facebook Timeline optional? How do I stay private on it?
Ive been wondering this for a while but never found a straight forward answer. Is the new facebook timeline and optional upgrade or plugin? Do I have the choice to stay with the current facebook?

If not, whats the best way to stay moderately private? Im not very fond of the timeline idea and how it displays everything.

You have no choice. Eventually you will be called to upgrade to it. The timeline that scrolls on the side is what i like to call the "Predator Bar," lol, because anyone and everyone can see what you like and comment on. You can block the app posting and usage though, that is it! Kind of sucks, but welcome to the new Facebook, where they let EVERYTHING be known! lol
