Phone application log out question please help?

So I just upgraded to a iphone4s and i have my old iphone 3 sitting here and my friend wants to use it until his new phone comes in the mail, but I don't think i signed out of my apps on my iphone 3 before i switched sim cards. I already deleted the apps that i was logged in to (twitter/facebook) but I don't want him on my account if he re downloads the apps. how do i sign out without having to switch sims again. Or has it already signed out of my accounts because I deleted the apps?

Go to settings icon on your screen and select mail from the list......then onwards u should be able to figure out
