Facebook groups and pages?

i want to start a facebook group, but i want to know first if people are going to know who created the group, like my friends, for example. are my friends notified when i have created a group, like they're notified when i JOIN a group? and, can members of my group find out that who created the group?

It gives you an option to list yourself as the creator. You also have to option to invite your friends.

In the groups the creator becomes an admin, and the admins are showed. To be anonymous you should create a Facebook page, also called fan page. Page creators are anonymous and their messages are shown as written by the page and not by them.
