Does he like me? Help! I don't know what to do!?
A month ago, we were holding hands at a skating rink.
A few days later, I asked him to a dance (girl's choice) and he said yes, but asked me if we were going as a couple or as friends. I told him I liked him and didn't know what to say, he told me he didn't have the sme feelings for me and started educating me on "a date is a chance for people to like eachother" and etc. He told me he only thought of me as a friend. It really broke me.
He later told me he didn't want to go to the dance because he didn't really like dances. (!!?!?!)

We just went on our date yesterday- movies, dinner etc. That sort of stuff. I paid because the date was supposed to be substitue for the girl's choice dance. He got really close to me when we were sitting in the theatre. We didn't hug or even hold hands throughout the entire date.

As soon as I got home, he messaged me on facebook. He told me he enjoyed the date and wasn't really sure where I wanted to go with it. I told him (like he told me before) that if people go on a date and they enjoyed it, then they go on another and so on.

I was really nervous during the whole date because I'd never gone on a date in my whole life.

What should I do? I like him alot, but I still feel devastated from him friendzoning me. Where should I take this?

I wouldn't wait around for someone who doesn't know what they want.

He sounds like his trying to confuse you, because he himself doesn't know what he wants. Wait a week or two and see if he asks you out, but then again it's totally up to you. This is just me, but I would just stay friends and maybe go out with him once in awhile. Don't fall for the first guy out there. Especially if this was your first date and especially if he dashed you dreams in not going to the dance. He shouldn't have said yes and then have said no. Play it cool. There are thousands of guys out there, who will appreciate you more. You have your whole life ahead of you.
