How do you control privacy settings on Facebook?

Okay, so you know how facebook posts up things like 'John commented on Johnny's Wall' or 'John and Johnny just became friends' on your profile? How do I control who sees these kinds of notifications?

You can set on Private message.

Go to your "Privacy Settings" and then, "Profile Information". Set "Posts by Me" to something else (e.g. Only Friends, Only Me, etc.). Make sure to save changes once you edit the setting.

You can either delete them or you can go to "Account" and "Privacy Settings" and then go to "Profile Info" you can edit it from there.
