Why do the same people pop up on my new facebook friends list?
I was wondering about why the same people keep popping up on my new facebook friends list.. I don't have a top or anything, just curious.

Coincidence. I left Facebook a while ago, so I don't know about their updates, but it's probably due to coincidence. Or maybe you interact with those friends a lot and it's a new feature?

Used to be coincidence but not any more. Now the new profile's here... well...

This answer is from the Facebook help centre.


How does Facebook decide which friends appear on my profile?
Friends who you publicly interact with the most appear first on your profile. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.
