What happend to my cousin?

My cousin disappeared. here are the details. We live in a very nice part of LA. We got a death threat for him on the house phone and he said not to worry about it, but we reported it to the police. when we told him He got mad and said "great all I need is the police snoopin' around." He just vanished one day. his car was still in the drive way. after we reported him missing we found a shoe box with 1500 dollars in it and weed. The police hacked his facebook and read messages were he was telling people He was selling drugs. he had no job. He would tell everyone he was out looking for a job and would be gone all day and night, but when the police went places he said he had applied they said they keep their apps for a month at least and that they don't have his. Finally one of his friends said that they were drinking and smoking one day and he said he was a drug runner for MS-13. his friend said don;t you think that is dangerous and my cousin said " i got nothing to worry about" he then showed his friend 2000 dollars. the last time his younger sister saw him they were watching tv and he got a call on his cell phone. He then said "I'll be back and left" he did not take his car and now he is gone! without a trace. what hap pend to him? it's been 2 weeks and the police can't find him! what do you think happened to him? what would the police do based on the evidence they have? Could he be dead?
