On Twitter, should you only follow people who are similar to you?
Right now I am trying to gain more followers. Me, I'm a basketball and Hip-Hop fan. So occasionally, I'll tweet about the two. I also like to give good advice -- none of which I copy from the web -- and I joke also. I follow any and everyone back, but sometimes I've been unfollowed by people who want to have more followers than the people that they are following. Is this a good tip I should use?

No,
if you want to follow someone then follow them Do what you think is right.. For explain on my twitter account i've only followed celebrities and a few unknown people that have a page full of alright stuff...so i'm following only 100 people Only follow people you want to follow..Don't just unfollow people just for the sake of it. |

Following people with the similar interest is highly advisable since there is a great chance that these people will follow you back. If you are really craving for more followers I highly suggest you to try the service offered by Buy Real Marketing. They help you promote your twitter account to get real twitter followers.
