why are people so snobby about accepting facebook friends?
I consider myself to be a fairly nice person, and have been on facebook since 2009, and its not uncommon for me to receive friend requests from people I went to high school with 20 years ago, some who I never talked to much, but I always confirm them as friends. Personally, I dont see anything wrong with accepting friends from people from high school that I never talked to much, as long as I know the name, etc. But why do so many people not confirm people from high school or elsewhere that they knew or knew of, that werent bad to them in any way? Why do so many act like snobs that only confirm those individuals that were popular like they were in high school and who they were great friends with, and be so rude to nice people they know or knew of, that maybe they werent as close to? Is it just people are rude?

maybe those people just dont want a lot of people seeing what they post all the time - some people are more private than others
