Why facebook administration violates privacy?
I had a facebook account.Suddently when I came to sign in, they asked me to provide proof of identity my phone or mobile number. I am sure this is a deliberate move from facebook administration to steal our phone numbers to be used illegally. I protest here and announce my resentment concerning this deliberate action against facebook user privacy.

Oh,be quiet! It's to verify accounts so you can proof who you are. Do you think an website this popular would do that? They'd lose all customers.

Facebook CAN'T violate your privacy. YOU are asking PERMISSION to use servers THEY own. YOU have only the rights they CHOOSE to GIVE you on their site. If you don't like the conditions they set, you are free to not use the computers they OWN.

The ESSENCE of Facebook is VOLUNTARILY surrendering privacy. If you want privacy, get the **** off of Facebook.

Funny how I have YET to give them my phone number. My guess is either A) you went to a fake site and congrats on being fooled or B) you HAD ALREADY given your number and they were just that as a verification. They aren't going to make you provide a number that you never willingly gave. I doubt that they would ask you for your number anyway, unless YOU asked them to use that as a verification.
