Does this girl like me?

I really like this girl, but really am not sure if she does (I know I should just tell her I like her but Im too scared) but anyway recently we met up just to hang out, just the two of us, and we went to pick up her little sister from her school and we took her back to her home and I met their mum and blah blah blah... but when I got home, she said her mum said that 'she likes me and would make a good boyfriend for her' and she said that was awkward .. but why would she mention it to me??

she also messages me first on facebook.. if that means anything? she also has us at our prom as her profile picture and she thinks im cute and she enjoys talking to me and she invited me to go trick or treat with her and her little sister (you would just invite anyone would you?) !!

I am just trying to convince myself that she likes me :/ .. any helpful/honest opinions would be great am I wasting my time?

I honestly believe that she likes you. Most girls, including myself, give guys that we like many compliments, and we want them to go everywhere with us. We also have to talk to them all the time. Her comment about her mother being awkward was probably because she may be unsure that you like her, and she's trying to find out. Still, the best thing for you to do is ask her. I believe that she will say yes, but if she doesn't, it wasn't meant to be. Don't be scared, okay ? I wish you luck!
