If I deactivated my Facebook acount?

So, I got fed up with Facebook, so I sent my friend a message before I deactivated. Now my account doesn't exist anymore, will he still get my message?

No probly not cause when i deactivated mine and then i got on my friend's fb and i couldnt find myself so ur msg probly wouldnt show up

it should. from what i know, when you are deactivated you are still on their friend list just not activated and can't do anything

No one can reply to the message
Your profile pic will be back to the default blue and white silhouette
All the links to your page will become inaccessible
You will be blacked out from search engines and other search tools (no one can search your account anymore)
