Finding members for my singing group?

Me and my friend have been trying to find girls to join our pop singing group for awhile. We always fail at it. We have posting posting ads about auditions on facebook but we fail to find anyone. Any advice how we can? Most of the girls at my school are mean and stuck up so i'm looking for girls in different grades but i don't know those people and i'm too afraid to talk. Advice?

Much less risky staying at two. I actually refuse to have someone sing with me anymore after a traumatic experience where I was put in a chorus group with one bad singer and me and the other girl sounded good.

Unless you hold anonymous auditions then yeah go for it, but don't just pick your friends. It will bite you straight in the behind and ruin your relationship.
